muscular suppleness and dexterity.
Forward And Backward Bending Asanas: These asanas are the connection
between the physical exercises we do and our mental well-being.
Before performing these asanas, you must first attain some agility,
as these postures require comparatively more practice. They stretch
our backbone and simultaneously add elasticity to our joints and
muscles. They add balance and poise to our body posture.
Back bending asanas: If our backbone is strong, it can bear all
sorts of physical pressures. These asanas are great for our spine.
Breathing Health
A major component of practicing yoga in the correct manner is to
control breathing while performing these asanas. Only correct
rhythm of breathing will make an asana perfect and useful. One has
to learn when to inhale and exhale while performing a particular
Asana. Breathing exercises are extremely beneficial to human
health. They help in proper air supply to all body parts and can
supply a youthful beauty and glow to your face. Yoga has the power
to slow down aging,
Proper control of breath is imperative to Yoga. Concentration
is yet another factor which goes hand in hand with breathing. A
person needs to focus on their breathing cycle.
Warming up
One must precede all major yoga asana workouts by some simpler
poses, which are equivalent to warming up. This enables the learners
to perform in a calm and easy manner, as the preceding exercises
stretch the limbs and muscles to a comfortable level. They make it
easier to do certain asanas, which may otherwise be too difficult.
Comfort Is the Mantra
If a novice feels that he or she is not able to do an asana
comfortably, he must ask his Yoga expert for help. There can be two
reasons for not being comfortable. Either the person is not doing
the asana properly or there is a little lack of practice. However,
if you try to stretch beyond your physical limit, you may end up
harming yourself. Therefore, comfort is the primary factor that
dictates Yoga.
